FAQ

DELIVERY
Q. Where do you deliver to?
A. Delivery can be arranged to any New Zealand address.

Q. How much does delivery cost?
A. Due to the diversity of products on our web site and, in some cases, the large size, we are unable to calculate delivery charge online.
Once your order has been placed we will contact you with a price for delivery. Your credit card will not be charged until you have agreed to the delivery charge. If, at the time the delivery charge is presented to you, you do not wish to proceed, you will have the option of arranging for either collection of the goods by yourself or your selected freight company or cancelling your order without penalty.

Q. How quickly will you despatch the goods?
A. In stock items will be despatched as soon as we have verified your payment.
For items not in stock at the time of order, we will advise an estimated delivery date and despatch as soon as they arrive. For items not in stock, delivery could be 4-6 weeks or more, so please order early to help avoid delays to your project.

Q. Can I refuse to take delivery of the goods I ordered?
A. No. If you wish to return goods, please see RETURNS below and our terms and conditions.

Q. What do I do when the goods arrive?
A. Check all components are correct and undamaged. It is important to do this immediately and notify us within 3 days of receiving your order if their is a discrepency or damage. If any of the packaging appears damaged on delivery, please write this on the delivery note before signing it.

PAYMENT
Q. Do you accept other forms of payment?
A. Yes. If you wish to pay by direct credit or cash or cheque, please contact us. We do not advise that you post cash or cheques.

Q. I don't want to pay over the internet, what can I do?
A. We accept cash and cheque payments in our store. If paying by cheque, the goods will not be despatched until the cheque has cleared and the funds are in our account.

DOORS
Q. Can I buy doors only?
A. Yes. You can purchase doors only. Please note that the doors do not have pre-drilled hinge holes. Drilling hinge holes is a straight forward task that a carpenter or experienced handyman should be able to undertake.

Q. I want a door made to a certain size, can you do this?
A. Our doors come in a wide range of sizes that allows us to tackle even the most demanding of kitchen installations, so we do not make doors to custom sizes.

RETURNS
Q. Can I return any unwanted goods?
A. Yes, if the goods are undamaged and still in their original packaging, you may return the goods for a refund (less delivery costs and administration fee of 20% of the value of the goods). Our returns procedure must be followed, see below. If the value of the returned goods are less than 10% of the original order value, the administration fee will be waived.
We will not accept the return of any goods which have been manufactured or modified at your request.
Refunds will use the same payment method as the original purchase e.g. if paying by credit card, the refund will be credited to the original credit card account.

Q. What is your returns procedure?
A. Before retunring any goods, please contact The Kitchen Gallery to obtain an RMA number. Any goods returned must be packaged with the RMA number clearly stated. Please ensure that any returned goods are packaged appropriately as we can not provide refunds for damage occuring after you have received the goods.
